Winthrop Carter House, Boscawen, New Hampshire, An Intimate Barn Wedding

I was asked by one of my long-time clients to photograph their wedding at the historic Winthrop Carter House in Boscawen, New Hampshire, a gorgeous wedding venue in Central New Hampshire. The Winthrop Carter House is one of my favorite venues to photograph with endless spots for photos, a photographers creative playground! It was one of my longest wedding days filled with details and intimate moments.

Lorren and Justin have been my longest returning clients. We first met through a joint couple’s session with friends Josh and Holly, then a couples’ session in Prescott Park in Portsmouth New Hampshire, Lorren’s graduation photos, and then their engagement through the snowy streets of Boston. Their wedding was very DIY, and every detail had a meaning including her grandfather's last wedding as a working florist.

They opted for me to come bright and early to get detail and flat lay images including invitations with our previous engagement photos, so rewarding to see! The first look with Justin and her father felt elegant and beautiful to watch. The ceremony was expertly crafted to be short and sweet. It was back lit in the venues back meadow, absolutely stunning to see! They opted for a table dash style photo session with each table during reception which was a first for me and a new favorite! Then the couple chose to have me until the very last dance. It was so rewarding to be a part of so many milestones for them and their family, and I hope to continue to be there for many more! I love building trust and a relationship like this with all of my couples.
