Portsmouth Meeting House Moon Rise

I spent the past 11 months doing research on this alignment of the moon setting behind the Meeting House in Portsmouth New Hampshire. I saw 80% cloud cover for the time of the event and thankfully they were high and thin so it actually helped add a mystical glow around the moon. This was the shot that came out better than planned out of the set. I loved how the top of the moon was framed but the weathervane and the bell tower.
